How To Enable Monster Power In Diablo 3

Have you ever thought inferno was to easy?  Does having the chance to get Better loot make you a happy panda? Well this is what Blizzard has done for you.  As of patch 1.0.5, you have the chance to set the power level of the monsters you fight.  I did not think it was possible to make Diablo 3 Inferno mode look like a pussy, but its been done.  I gave it a try, and I can honestly say I love how it feels like Inferno felt week one of my Diablo 3 career.

How To Setup Monster Power

In order to set this madness up we need to first enable it in the options.  This option is not enabled when you first log in.  You need to go into the options menu and open the gameplay section.

Once in this menu you now have the option in the lower right hand corner to enable monster power selection.

Enable Monster Play

Once this is all enabled you need to go back to the character screen and open up the change quest menu.  This will lead you to the drop down menu where you can change the monster power level.

The menu to change the Monster Power level has 10 different options.  Each option increases the chance you can get better and better loot.  Add this with already better drop rates, and Paragon Levels and this makes for one epic drop rate.  I cant wait till I get to practice with this a little more.  I can only imagine the gear I’m going to get out of this.

What This Means For Diablo 3 Gold Farming

This brings us to a new era of farming gold, but at the same time we also have a challenge we have not seen since the game first came out.  I was so sad when they made the game so easy in inferno, a mode where it was hard to complete.  Now with the option to make it as hard with good gear adds another level to this game.
